Description: Continuing a resurgent period of endeavor, Tasmania's Striborg returns with another offering comprised of new and rare pieces. Consisting of seven total recordings, Purifying the River of Tears exhibits all sides of Sin-Nanna's creative energy through the three new tracks, one in each style of power electronics, black metal and dark ambient. The four rare tracks were originally released between 2006 and 2009 as the Striborg contributions on three split 7" releases with Xasthur, Scurshahor, and Defuntos. Purifying the River of Tears is a welcome addition to the Striborg catalogue while also providing a second opportunity to those who may have missed the EPs the first time around.
