Description: Originally released in 2005, Damascus Steel is the third full length from experimental black metallers The Meads of Asphodel. Continuing their established style of religious imagery and injections of Middle Eastern sounds, Damascus Steel adds a full range of tempo and pacing alongside a progressive tangent without losing the aggressive edge. This new version has a reworked layout and new artwork which complement the two additional reissues, Exhuming the Grave of Yeshua and The Excommunication of Christ.
