Bland Vargar deliver a beautiful combination, of atmospheric black metal, and folk influence with melodic riffs abound. With impeccable guitar tones, the band maps out the headstrong riffs with driving drums that give it its fair share of black metal flair, with this they bring on acoustic guitar interludes that flow naturally and with no forced changes in the song writing. Notturno 11 (Of Death and Rebirth) highlights the band's ability to give a slow looming resonance with heavy doom influence that progresses into a triumph of a 16 minute track featuring a little bit of everything the album has to offer.
Artwork and lyrics fit well with the music. The natural flow of the album lends itself to the nature inspired lyrics, and cover leaving the listener to ponder how the natural world overlays with our inner struggles.
